Your privacy
In short
No ads, no tracking, no analytics. This site only uses your data to show you the pages, send you what you signed up for, and handle what you buy.

Hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). When you open a page, their servers automatically process technical data such as your IP address, the date and time and the page you asked for. This is needed to show you the site and keep it secure (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). See Netlify’s privacy policy.
Fonts and images
All fonts, images and videos are stored on this website itself. Your browser doesn’t contact Google Fonts or any other outside service to load them.
Sign-up forms and emails
When you sign up for a freebie, the waitlist or the Boss Girl Mail Club, I use Kit (ConvertKit, USA) to store your email address (and your first name, if you give it) and to send you emails.
- You only get what you signed up for. My newsletter only goes to you if you ticked the box for it.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
- Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).
On pages with a sign-up form, Kit’s form script loads from Kit’s servers and saves a small ID in your browser’s storage. See Kit’s privacy policy.
When you buy something
The buy buttons take you to my checkout page on Kit. Payments are handled by Stripe. I receive your name, email address and what you bought, so I can deliver your order and answer questions (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). I keep order records for as long as tax law requires (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR). I never see your full card details.
When you email me
If you email me, I use what you send only to reply to you. I delete it when it’s no longer needed, unless I have to keep it by law.
Cookies
This website itself sets no cookies. The only thing saved in your browser is the small Kit ID on sign-up pages (see above).
Data sent to the USA
Netlify, Kit and Stripe are based in the USA, so your data may be processed there. These companies use safeguards required by the GDPR for this, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Details are in their privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask me at any time what data I have about you, and ask me to correct it, delete it, limit how it’s used or send you a copy. You can object to how it’s used and withdraw any consent. Just email me.
You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one for Lower Saxony (Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen).
